Our next Green Drinks evening will take place upstairs at the Great Haywood Sports & Social Club from 7.30 to 9.00 pm
All around us nature needs a helping hand but how can we play our part in supporting biodiversity and improving the health of our local green spaces?
Space for Nature is a Colwich Parish Council campaign to find ways of delivering its Green Infrastructure Plan and SinCH is very pleased to have been asked to take a lead in making this happen.
Amongst the objectives of this work are:
- Maintaining, restoring and creating habitats for our flora and fauna.
- Developing wildlife corridors.
- Maintaining and, if possible, increasing priority species populations of flora & fauna.
- Promoting people’s feelings of well-being.
The talk will cover what it’s all about, why it’s so important, what’s currently going on, who’s involved and will provide an opportunity to suggest ideas and discuss what we can all do to help.
