Join us on a Fungi Foray on Sunday 20 October at 2 PM. Meet on the entrance to the track that runs between St Stephen’s Church and Anson School. All welcome.

The popular Fungi Foray is back! Come and spot some of the fascinating variety of fungi breaking cover now. Led by local, knowledgeable ecologist, Richard.

No need to book – just turn up. For those with no choice but to come by car, parking is available to the rear of the Memorial Hall. The track is directly opposite the Hall entrance.

This has always been a very popular event – it’s great for “kids of all ages” and we’re delighted that Richard will be our fun guy again.

Want to “dig deeper”? An interesting blog on Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s website is worth checking out here and an in-depth article by Merlin Sheldrake here .

Warning: never eat fungi unless you are absolutely sure what you are collecting!
