Sunday 20 July – 4pm at the SinCH Growing Space, Colwich Allotments, Coley Lane
All welcome – no fixed charge but donations to SinCH welcome on the day.
We are very pleased to welcome local storyteller, artist and poet, Ingrid Wagner to the SinCH Growing Space. We can expect an entertaining and lively performance!
Ingrid will be sharing her lively travelling tales through lands of impossible language, babushkas, pickled gherkins, her first encounter with a Polish allotment and goats in trees in Morocco. Often humorous, very closely observed and always reflective of both a different culture and self met on her journeys.
Ingrid will also be reading from her own and fellow poets’ recent collections of 30 Days Wild Writing: nature in all its fascinating and intricate detail in words that will paint pictures for you as you listen.
For more information about the event and Ingrid herself please click here.
If possible, please bring a camping style seat if you have one.
Please also take the opportunity to come earlier for the Allotments Open Day which runs from 10.00 – 16.00. Walking is recommended if possible, but if you need to come by car there may be some limited parking on site or on the Coley Lane bridge over the A51.
To find the SinCH Growing Space walk downhill along the allotment’s central track and then take the first track on the right. You will see the SinCH sign on the left. Walk through the first allotment and you’ll find us in a secret garden! To find out more about the SinCH Growing Space and what we are up to please click here.
